...First I want to say I'm sorry for posting this here, but I need a quick answer and the programming forum is probably the last place were I would get one... If anyone wants to express their unhappiness about this being off topic, just don't reply and ignore this....

I'd really appreciate some help in choosing a stable, good and easy-to-user programming/developer interface for C++. I have been using KDevelop for SuSE for a long time now, and I wanted to know wether or not there's a comparable thing for Windows XP.

Also, I'd like to investigate threading more carefully, so if anyone has any information regarding additional threading tools or whatever, I'd appreciate some input...

Thanks in advance!

Hum... I suppose dans Microsoft VisualStudio.net is what you might need... I'm not an expert with, I learned Visual Basic with it, but I'm strongly confident that C++ integration is good in it... But it's another evil product from Bill!

I'm not sure how stable it is, but I just started working at a place that uses Eclipse. It is a java development studio, but I think it works for C++ too. It is a free open-source development studio.
