keboad and mouse not working

please give help I have a Asus deluxe x99 motherboard and just built my PC I went ahead and started to install on my driver disks and software discs my GPU and windows was successful but after installing my motherboard CD and restarting the windows started up had no control of my mouse and keyboard I tried everything to get it right followed instructions when to BIOS USB settings does not work when to safe mode scan for driver problems disable driver problems restarted windows control back but lost control of display of some sort then went back read did everything restored settings default settings tried as much as I can. And still no success please help

may need to put the usb drives on the black usb ports in the back and see if they work. some newer mb have intel and asmedia ports. if they have them you need to install the asmedia drivers for those blue ports to work right.
also use the usb flashback port and a usb stick and update the mb to the newest bios file to rule out a bios bug.

went to asus.com downloaded what i need but all is zipped what now?

unzip this and then copy it to root of usb stick.
X99-DELUXE BIOS 1702

copy this to root of usb stick.
unzip both..when you do you see a long file name with a .cap on the end.
run the bios renamer and the file will be shortend like x99.cap.
on the back of the mm the lowest usb port under the ethernet should be marked usb flashback.
plug the usb stick in and press on the back of the mb or on the mb the usb flashback or rog flashback.
the flashback light will blink for a few min then turn off.
