Keep 1600c9 or switch to 2400c11 (Getting into heavy video editing)

Fellow PC enthusiast,
I just finished an adobe premiere class and I have noticed the program lags pretty bad. I am currently running Corsair Vengance 16gb 1600MHz 9-9-9-24. As far as video editing would it be of any benefit to upgrade to Corsair Vengeance Pro 32gb DDR3 2400MHz 11-13-13-31?
just in case.

Doing heavy video editing, go with 2400 over 1600 - no question there......Also a minimum of 16GB. Performance wise I wrote an artical a while back on 32GB sets of 2400 (AMD vs Intel) might help some also
