Hi guys,
So here is the deal. I decided to go for 34'' ultra wide monitor 3440 x 1440, 100Hz monitor. I probably plan to pair it with VEGA but we will see, maybe 1080 / ti, if VEGA fails short.
Question is, since it will be 100Hz monitor, I do want as much fps I can get, probably as close to 100 as possible. From what I get. 3570k, even OCd won't be able to provide that, and will bottleneck GPU.
Is there a point in going for 3770k maybe? I could probably sell 3570k, add around 60-70euro and buy 3770k.
3770k is still not a 'perfect' solution too, right?
Then if I go for something like 7700k, this requires whole overhaul, and would probably cost me around 550+ euro. I could get probably around 150-200e for my mobo, ram and i5. But, as it is, I would rather wait for next gen of cpu's that will bring a bit more, since this whole i5 to i7 jump was not that big from what I get.
How noticeable in gaming would be difference if I keep current 3570k OC it, or go for 3770k compared to going with whole new setup?
Thanks
