So I have a 980ti Classified and I was wondering if it would be a bad decision to get 2 RX 480's?
I was originally going to get a 1070 but after 2 weeks of waiting now and no luck, I figured I would wait until the cards became more abundant; that's why I picked up this 980ti from Newegg for $400, to tide me over. Anyway, my new case is a little larger than expected and I need something to fill it out, something like a second gpu. Would I see a negative impact by using 2 RX 480's in corssfire vs sticking with the 980ti?

Yeah there's really no point in asking about the RX 480 since it hasn't even been released or fully tested yet. And I would take any claims about its performance with a grain of salt- since they're all coming from AMD- who's trying to SELL you one. Plus, do you really want the vanilla card instead of an AIB model like your OC'd Classified 980ti with better cooling? Have some patience for gad sake.
In all honesty people are saying that 2 RX 480 Ati card should be as good as a 1080 Nvidia card, or surpass it slightly in performance numbers, frame rate results.

But I would hang fire and wait till the RX 480 card testing results come out Hayden.
You only have to wait about another two weeks anyway before AMD/ ATI release the polaris range of gpu`s.
Just stick with the 980 Ti card you have till we have the results of testing.

that's what I was thinking. Keep in mind I'm only at 1080p so any of the three solutions I go with are overkill. (The only reason I got the 980ti is because Newegg was selling them for so cheap new). BUT, I have plenty of power for performance, now I want to make my case look good. I got the inwin 303 and it's a little big and I need something to fill up all this space. One card just doesn't look enough. Any ideas?
