keep ddr4 2666 or upgrade to 3200?

I just have 8gb of ddr4 2666. Im thinking of either shipping it back for a refund and get 16gb of 3200 or order another 8gb of ddr4 2666. What should i do?

btw im running ryzen 5 2600 cpu

Probably if the memory isnt on QVL list of your mobo, it can happen that you cannot run 3200, but cpu's max 2993.

In short, Ryzen G and ryzen are a bit picky about ram, but RG cares less about ram speed.
But if the difference in money isnt big why you shouldnt go with it?
