I built this pc about 6 months back. Its been fine until the other day I got stuck in an automatic repiar loop. I couldnt get around it, so I removed the ssd and formated it, then reinstalled windows on it. Got it back up and running. Installed the updates windows needed installed along with the software for my motherboard. Then i restarted it and went back to automatic repair.

This time however, it did return the computer back its original state when windows was first installed. However, i dont know what is causing it. Is it hardware?

I'm completely lost. Could it be a bad ssd, ram or MB? Maybe i should try updating the MB from its website instead of the disc. I have no idea.

16gb ram corsair
12400f
1tb ssd
1050ti
H670 pro wifi d4

Can you elaborate on this?

H670 pro wifi d4
What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

1tb ssd
You might want to pass on the make and model of your SSD.

Maybe i should try updating the MB from its website instead of the disc.
Where did you source the installer for the OS?

it just kept repeatedly going to automatic repair. It couldnt repair and every time i tried another option, it wouldnt accept my password to revert to a stored restore point or any of the advanced options. I just couldnt get it back to windows. Even the basic reset wasnt doing anything, it would just loop back to automatic repair and go to the blue screen with options.
I removed the ssd and put it into my other pc to format it. I formatted it by using rundisk and going through the steps to remove all the partitions. Everything installed fine.

The bios version is 1404 x64.

The ssd is a wd black 1tb sn750 se nvme.

I used windows media creation tool onto a usb stick to install windows. The disc i mentioned for the motherboard is the standard disc that came with the board. I never updated the bios, it was just some software like chipset, wifi, audio.
