[SOLVED] Keep on getting blue scr.

I replaced the power supply with a 700w because some fans weren't firing right. Seemed to help but not I'm getting blue screen pretty regularly now. Win 10. Is it the hard drive? I think I'm running WD Blue 1T.

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

copy that file to documents

upload the copy from documents to a file sharing web site, and share the link in your thread so we can help fix the problem

So I've gone in and created it to do the small memory dump. It was set on kernel dump. Do I need to wait for it to shut down again to actually get the small memory dump? (Thank you for the help)

Yes, it won't create one until the next crash.

Ok, it finally went down. How do I get the actual file from the hard drive? Im doing a search right now but it is taking a long time.

the file will be in c:/windows/minidump folder
copy the contents from here to another folder
upload the copies from new folder to a file sharing website (may need to zip them)

I've seemed to have lost my mind. I cannot find windows once I open the command prompt. There is no c:windows . Here is what my command prompt looks like: https://hogcooter.dropmark.com/789558

You are in the wrong directory
type cd/ to get to root of c
type dir for here to find windows folder
type cd windows to get into windows folder.

why are you using cmd and not file explorer?

I'm an idiot. Had a massive memory issue in my brain a couple of years ago. Now it won't let me run as administrator. I'll post if I can get in.
