I had a Cooler master silentpro gold go for about 4 years before finally failing (did the on off on off when trying to start it) I had been using a Antec earthwatts 750w while waiting for replacement. I was given a cooler master v850 as a replacement, and wonder if I should just continue using what I have in there, the Antec was made in 2009 but has been pretty solid. Should I just keep the unused one as a spare?
The only thing I do not like about the Antec is the fan bearings are a little worn or something like that and it makes a little bit of a noise.....but I think that is replaceable.
