KeePass or LastPass?

Hello Everybody:

I would like to know which program is better, KeePass or LastPass? and if one has something special that the other one doesn't have? Of course the question is about the saving passwords software.

It's pretty important, and also I would like to know if there are any other ways to save the passwords and protect them?

I'm honestly more comfortable committing passwords to memory, rather than allow a third-party app to store and protect them for me. Especially when we're talking about banking sites.
