Current gaming PC:

Corsair 100R Case
Intel Core i5 6500
RX-480 8GB
2TB HDD 7200RPM 3.5"
120GB SSD (with windows 10)
8GB RAM
GA-H170M-D3H MB
Corsair 750W 80+Bronze PSU

Firstly, will it be possible to remove my motherboard and CPU to replace them both with a new MB and a Ryzen 5 1600 (or Ryzen 7 1700X) and then keep everything else, so same RAM, HDD, SSD and PSU without any flaws?

Secondly, will I be able to keep my Windows 10 if I move it onto an external hard drive and then put it back onto my SSD after I reassemble the PC with the new MB and CPU?
I really don't want to buy W10 again.

Thanks, and sorry if this is a daft question. Just want to be sure before buying a new CPU and MB worth £100's

Solution
1) You can replace your CPU and mobo with no issues

2) That's not how it works. Windows 10 is tied to your Microsoft account (https://www.windowscentral.com/how-link-your-windows-10-product-key-microsoft-account). When you reinstall Windows (you can download a free copy from Microsoft to make a bootable USB - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10) you just log in with your Microsoft account and you'll have an activated copy. No need to buy Windows again.

As long as you do a fresh installation of Windows after you change your CPU and mobo, you'll be fine.
