keeps telling me my password is "incorrect"

I know several people are simply going to comment that I'm just entering my password incorrectly, but I'm 100% positive that I am entering it correctly. Every time I try to log onto my Acer laptop, I get an error message saying that my password is incorrect at least one time before I enter in the same exact password and it lets me in. This is extremely frustrating to have to go through every time I want to log in to my laptop. (Yes, I make sure Caps/Num lock are both off before I enter in my password). Any feedback/insight into this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 
You might have an issue with the keyboard not registering correctly. In that case, I'd take the issue up with Acer.
Do you have any issues typing at any other point in time? Or solely at logon/password stage?

Once you're in, it might be worth changing/disabling the password.
 


This was something I also considered, but I haven't had any other problems with day-to-day use.
