Kernal Driver Crashed (GPU)

I was just browsing the internet, and all of a sudden my HDMI cut out, and I recieved an error message along the lines of this:
NVIDIA Kernel driver has crashed. It has recovered.
Something like this happened to me a few months ago, and I did sort of what I did back then.
Uninstalled drivers, guru3d display driver sweep, and re-install drivers with disk my GPU came with. (MSi GTX 970)
I haven't tried to boot up any games yet, but do you think I'm safe? Should I send the card off for an RMA?
Really at a loss here guys.
