ok so i recently upgrade my CPU, Motherboard and RAM and my system spec is as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i5 8600k
RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black, PC4-19200 (2400)
Motherboard: ASUS Z370-A PRO
GPU: GTX 780
PSU: OCX 600W modular
HD: 2TB seagate drive and 250GB 840 EVO SSD
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212X

This has lead to the computer occasionally randomly powering down with this error being given:
Source: Kernal-Power
event ID: 41
Level: Critical
Image of error: https://imgur.com/a/s6Gti

As shown in the above image this has now happened 3 times. My CPU temperatures are roughly 30-40 degrees idle and 50-70 when playing games. I have double checked to make sure that all the power cables are firmly in and i have run a diagnostic on my memory which didn't return any errors. Is this likely to be a problem with my PSU? its one of the older parts of my PC and if it is the PSU do i run a risk of harming any of my other hardware? Although the PSU worked perfectly fine with my previous components (RAM, CPU and motherboard) and i never got an error like this with my old PC.
Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

Solution
Your new motherboard and CPU are most likely drawing more power than your previous system. The 8600k and 8700k are power hungry chips. You most likely need a newer/better PSU. The Kernel Power error means your system shut down unexpectedly and this is usually a sign that there was some sort of power loss. You would get that same error if you pulled the plug out of the wall while it was running.
