Hello guys
I have the old problem with the driver NVidia windows kernel driver stopped responding and has succesfuly recovered.
I tried everything that I could find on the internet,
The thing is that is not always recovering from the error and keeps restarting my pc.
I had an old gforce gt630 gpu with the same problem and I changed it to an gtx 1050 ti with a new psu which is Corsair 750 w thinking that my old psu wont have enough power for the gtx 1050 ti.
Again..i did everything that I found on the internet and stil nothing worked and it`s just killing me inside.
My question is..can It be from the processor or motherboard? the errors started to show up when I changed my processor the first time like 2 years ago and the only fix which I found was to use 2 monitors instead of one..but now one of them is broken so yeah...no fix for me..

Hey man,

Your problem is common these days since nVidia has issues with their drivers from time to time.
I have GTX860 on my Asus ROG laptop and have had the same problem as you but fixed it after few minutes.

Steps to follow are:
1. Enter safe mode and uninstall all drivers for your graphics card.
2. Download some of the previous versions of driver that worked well.
3. When installing make sure to check "clean install" box.
4. When you find driver that works perfectly stick to it, don't update. (That's my advice) :)

Peace!
