Causes my pc to shut down instantly, it also only seems to happen whilst i am playing the runescape jagex launcher

any help would be greatly appreciated, i have tried a few things, even updating to windows 10 after reading it was an 8.1 bug but it still persists.

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that I suggested to others who had the same problem.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the GPU Driver.
- Check Programs and Features and uninstall anything related to your graphics card.
- Once done, download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
- Once installed reboot your laptop for the changes to take effect.
- After the reboot do set your graphics card as the default.
- If all these will not work your last option would be to reinstall Windows 10.
