I am having problems with my system shutting down after an hour or so (at random) when using Windows 7,8.1 or 10. I have checked the power settings and even did a 28-hour stress test. During the test, the computer NEVER shut down. It did when I have a Windows OS on it, which seems strange. I'm wondering if there's a software setting I'm missing. I did change the power options to "Never" for hibernating, screen timeout, etc. It's just strange it never shut off after 28 continuous hours of testing but it did one an OS was installed. I had 2 SSD drives and one EIDE drive during the initial problem in Windows and during the testing. I removed one SSD and added another EIDE drive. The power supply is 700W and, as I said, never shut off during stress testing. Any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
