Hello, I am getting random reboots on my laptop for quite some time now and i could really use some help.

Things worth mentioning : I haven't changed any hardware what so ever, the laptop is about 4 years old, all the software i install are legit ,i also tend to use ccleaner to clean up the registry whenever i uninstall a program,as peripherals i am using a mouse , and speakers, i have disabled all the sleep modes, hibernate from my power options.

Things i have already done to resolve the issue :

1.I run memtest x86 multiple passes to check wether it is a hardware issue , i had 0 errors.

2. I switched my power supply with a brand new one but the problem persists.

3.I used Coretemp and gpu Z and my cores peak at 76 Celcious and my gpu at 75 Celcious during gaming (which in my opinion is pretty good actually).

4.i have unchecked every single option in my devices in device manager that Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power, i also have disabled the high definition audio controller in Device Manager.

For what it's worth my laptop is Toshiba sattelite L750.

Thank you in advance.

with laptops can be power brick ac cable is bad. they get twisted a lot. can be a lose power pin on the laptop. if the laptop has a ac/dc power board it can be failing. bad system board. looking online there just a system board for your unit. look to see what the replacement cost is. if it 200.00 i would think about replacing the laptop with a new unit.

Thank you for taking your time to answer my question.
I always have my pc plugged in when it happens , so i don't believe the battery is an issue , i removed it in the past but to no matter a new unexpected reboot happened. As far as the problem with the build in power supply on the laptop i am not really familiar with that , but i haven't always had kernel power issue , only the past year or so it occurs.

I am slightly confused , when you say bad system board , you mean the motherboard right ? so the power supply for the laptop is not the only thing that converts the ac to dc power ? there is an actual mechanism on my motherboard that has similar function ?

The motherboard has its own regulators, dropping voltages down much lower than what the external power supply and battery provide. If it's not a bad connection and still does this if the battery is removed I would start to think it's an internal problem which means a problem with the motherboard

I've thought of that at some point , the thing that confuses me though is that the reboots are so random.I was gaming for 4 days straight this weekend and only yesterday i had 1 reboot caused by kernel power.
Could this still be a software issue ? Could it be that i have installed many drivers since i first bought the laptop and the issues seem to occur whenever i turn my power options from Eco to Balanced, although it doesn;t not seem to have a big impact at least on the options that are modified which i am available to view/change .

So i have 3 questions :

1.Will a system default(format) do anything for me , is there a possibility?

2.I've seen some people say the on board sound card could be in conflict with the peripheral- speakers , is there any truth to that ?

3.And last but not least , if i open my laptop and clean up the motherboard with a blow gun(dust cleaner) could that make any difference ?

Any feed back would be appreciated , thanks.
