So I put this build together for a friend and hes getting kernel power system failures every couple of days. I had a similar problem with my build (had to upgrade from an 850watt to 1250watt psu to fix) and I'm wondering if he needs a bigger psu. Heres the part list.

According to a power supply calculator the total load should be around 400 watts and the build has a quality 550 watt psu. Did I get too small a psu or is something else going haywire. And if something else probably is any ideas what it could be?
