Key board and mouse not working

I am install xp 32 bit and Windows 8 64 bit in my PC double boot .now some problems created there was not working the keyboard , mouse & external devices in xp OS but all works an windows 8 .how to rectify problems in xp OS please tell as

if these are usb devices then you need to install the usb drivers.
