Key repeats wrong letter. Help please!

Hi. I press the "n" key on my keyboard and I get a "t" and it repeats until I hit "n" again. Apparently it's only lower case "n", the upper is fine.

I've tried restarting, unplugging/replugging the keyboard, trying a new keyboard, running a virus scan, checking that nothing was turned on in accessibility and the comp/keyboard language.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

I got it! It was a corrupt keyboard driver...reinstalled and it seems to work fine.

I spoke too soon. It worked for about 2 minutes and it's doing it again!

Also in safe mode? Thinking of some weird macro alike thing running. Try safe mode. If that wirks, use autoruns from sysinternal to find out what extra is starting up on thy machine.

Haven't tried safe mode yet. Will try next time I get it away from the kids.
