Keyboard and mouse not working after getting to desktop

Hello,
My keyboard works at logon, but not after my desktop loads. I tried updating drivers, uninstall and reinstall, and a different keyboard..no help. Mouse works fine and all ports are good. Both keyboards work on a different computer. I have a Toshiba Sattelite U505 and Windows 7 premium 64 bit

Try using USB connectors instead of PS/2 if this is the case.
