Keyboard and mouse not working after windows startup

Hello I recently upgraded to the ryzen 7 1700 and with the motherboard asus crosshair vi. After windows launches, I cannot access my mouse and keyboard. I've checked other solutions online and nothing else has worked for me (such as connecting them to usb 2.0 ports, my mobo has no ps2 for keyboard/mouse)

I'm running windows 7 64 bit

try different usb ports, it may be that you got a new motherboard with different drivers.
