Keyboard and mouse not working on login screen. Windows 10

Hi all, wondering if you could help. I recently installed some new video drivers and then restarted my pc I attempted to log in but neither my keyboard or mouse were working. I've been googling for the past few hours and I can't find anything to help. Can someone give me any pointers to sort this out. Thanks. System spec: Windows 10 3.9ghz cpu 4gb amd card 7800 series (I think) 16gb ram
