[SOLVED] Keyboard and mouse not working

Please need help on this, after disabling my USB drives and rebooting my all in one Dell optiplex 7440 a10 running win7, the mouse and keyboard do not work at windows login or safe mode but work at bios. Really need help to solve this

When you said "disable USB drives" what did you do exactly? If you disable the USB ports, then yea mouse and keyboard won't work since you disabled the ports.

I actually meant disabling the USB driver, from device manager

Yep, that would do it, I mean what did you expect? You need the USB driver to run the USB ports, if you disable it, no USB ports. You may be able to do a repair Windows setup to get to a restore point before you did the change.
