[SOLVED] Keyboard and mouse not working

Hello, I just upgraded my computer with new motherboard, RAM and processor and now my mouse and keyboard only works in bio. After system boot up my mouse and keyboard does not work. I have tried several things to fix it but no luck yet.

System:
Windows 7
i9 9900K processor
Aorus Z390 pro wifi MB
G. Skill trident Z royal
EVGA RTX 2080 Super


Things I’ve tried:

• using all USB ports front and back including black 2.0 ports
• using different mouse/keyboard
• enabled USB in bio
• tried disabling CSM in bio but it would not boot up the system
• can’t do a clean window reinstall
• can’t install Aorus driver
• Safe mode
• Latest bio update

What else can I do at this point?

Do a install of windows 10 over windows 7 just uncheck clean install

You are missing all the chipset drivers. You can install those when booted from windows CD with the command line. I would install windows 10 on top.

dism /Image:C:\ /Add-Driver /Driver:D:\ /Recurse

Where D:\ is the driver location.
