Last year I built a new PC and I've been having a problem ever since then but I always blamed it on the fact that the Windows I was using had no license.
The specs are:
  • Motherboard: Asus Prime X470 Pro
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
  • Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16gb @3000mhz
  • GPU: MSI Radeon R9 390 8gb
  • PSU: Corsair CS650M
  • Storage: 128gb SSD + 500gb HDD
  • Keyboard: Fnatic Gear Rush G1
  • Mouse: Mionix Avior 7000
Yesterday I bought a Windows 10 Pro license and did a full clean reinstall, formatting everything and it still has the same problem.

The problem I'm facing is that randomly the keyboard and the mouse are turning off and on again for a split second and if at that moment there is a key pressed, it considers the key as being kept pressed and it types the same key like 20 times and then it stops. The mouse just stops working for a second or so. I've looked all over the web with hopes that I could find a fix but nothing came out of it. As of late, it keeps on doing it more often.

I checked every USB setting I could find and everything seems to be OK. Update every driver I could, the only thing not updated being the BIOS. Updated the firmware of the mouse.
Shot a video of the keyboard turning off and on again:

Every time it happens, both the keyboard and the mouse are doing it at the same time. Also, this happens either once a few minutes, but also some times it happenes once every few seconds, just like in the video.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, today I updated the chipset drivers from the AMD website. The others should be quite recent since I did the reinstall on Monday, I think. The BIOS is American Megatrends Inc. 0222, 2/9/2018. What other drivers should I check and update if needed?

test with other keyaboards, if it still does it, it's windows disconnecting and reconnecting

uninstall the manufacturer driver and just use the windows driver, see if it works
