Question Keyboard and Mouse works on Win 10 and BIOS but not in Win7

I transferred a HDD to a new CPU. This HDD is installed with Win7 Pro, whereas the new CPU has SSD with preloaded Win10.

I could use the keyboard and mouse with ease when i had the same HDD with the old CPU though.

I tried different methods, from switching the USBs between 2.0 and 3.0 ports, turning off and on USB legacy mode, attempting to log in via safe mode, but none of these situations can get the mouse pointer moving. Any suggestions that i can try?

system spec? windows 7 might not have the driver to run the hardware
