Keyboard and speakers work, mouse and monitor don't.

Hi,

My system is:
MSI 970A gaming motherboard
ASUS GTX 1060 6GB
FX 6300 OC AT 4.0
Have 2 sets of 4 GB, DDR3 ram, total of 16gb. All been working fine together since November with no errors.

So I came back home and my pc was not booting properly, no signal for the monitor although the light is on on the graphic card. Keyboard was on but when booting the 3 lights don't turn on and off. Mouse gets no power. I have a little set of speakers powered by the motherboard, they're on.

So far I've taken out the ram, tried each set of 2 after I cleaned them. Left the pc off for a while, took the motherboard battery out, tried it without graphic card, still the same issue.

Any ideas on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have managed to troubleshoot the issue with spare parts and it turns out it was the new ram sticks. It was weird that some peripherals were still receiving power and confused me.
