I have a Dell Optiplex desktop, Windows 10 Home 32 bit with a Microsoft ergonomic wired keyboard that is 2 months old and clean. I believe I may have a virus or a malware from Facebook because twice this week, after I was on Facebook, the PC started typing dashes automatically once the cursor is placed anywhere you can type! in the browser, a document, software, or the Windows search bar, etc...without me touching the keyboard!
I have ran McAfee Virus Scan, and CC cleaner, reinstalled latest drivers for the MS 4000 ergonomic keyboard, plus reinstalled Windows 10 Home once. The reinstallation of Windows got rid of it for a few days! But then again it's came back yesterday while I was on Facebook. I haven't added any new software or made any changes to the computer. . I was able to leave it powered off for 12 hours or so, now it's not doing that now. But I know if I go into Facebook, it might start all over again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
