[SOLVED] Keyboard backlight problem

Hello!

I recently started experiencing issues with the backlight on my laptop: ASUS FX503VM-DM042T.
I formated my laptop about 2 days ago and opened the laptop to remove dust etc, installed more ram and changed the thermal paste.
this issue seems to have happened somewhere after i formated.

The backlight suddenly shuts off and then turns on randomly.
I tried to uninstall all keyboard drivers. I also removed the old ATK drivers and installed the newest one. But the problem is still there.

to adjust the brightneses on this laptop its fn + arrow up or down.
When its actually working im able to adjust the brightness or shut it off.
But when it shuts itself off, whatever i do doesnt help.

Id appreciate any help possible, thanks!

Check to make sure the ribbon connections to the motherboard are in properly. After you did a clean Windows setup did you install the drivers and utilities from ASUS?
