keyboard doesnt work in BIOS menu

my problem is not like others . i hev a very isolated problem. i bymistakenly formatted the drive in which windows was installed. idont know what to do. it like my pc starts and if i press f12 nithing happens. i dont knnow what to do. i want to know whether my pc is a piece of waste or its usable???? please help

First of all, you must spam F12, if you miss time it then you won't get in and it will just go to the OS, but thats not your issue because you formatted your drive, but repetitively tap F12 on start up and it may work.

I have had this problem and still do, after installing a newer GPU this actually freezes up the BIOS and makes me lose control so I cannot use my keyboard at all.

Have you installed a new component to the PC? mainly a gpu? if so please remove it and put in your old one as this can be a cause of it freezing up and not allowing you to control and access the submenus in the bios.
