I factory reset my HP laptop and after that my keyboard stopped working, in the device manager it shows a yellow icon on PS/2 keyboard driver.

Solution
I read from another forum and it solved one guy's problem, give it a try:

Turn off the notebook by holding down the Shift key as you click on Shut down, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.

Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
It is a laptop, HP Pavilion G6 and in the device manager it shows a driver for keyboard named as Standard PS/2 Keyboard when I choose to show hidden files . and has an yellow icon and is not updating the driver, and shows that the device driver is not working properly error code(24)

It didn't worked because the keys aren't working it's some driver problem and I can't find the driver online please find some way for me, everything was fine before I factory reset my laptop suddenly the keyboard went off working and the driver for keyboard shows a yellow icon on it, it is not even updating.!

try to get a usb keyboard, then connect to it and then follow the procedure using the usb keyboard.

Can you please tell me a way to fix that driver rather than doing all this?,

I am. You said you can't use the laptop keyboard. So you have no option but to use an external keyboard. This tutorial will help you fix the driver problem automatically. It does not require driver update.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you haha it worked I switched off my laptop then hold the power button for 20 seconds and when I turned it on the keyboard was perfect!!! working fine haha thanks aaaalottttt!

8th of February 2017, second page of google results. This post saved me from sending in my laptop for repair. Neither microsoft nor lenovo customer support were of any help. Thank you.
