[SOLVED] Keyboard effects

So i am planning to modify my keyboard. I am going to disolder the old led's and put a new ones.... So my question is... Will i be able to control the keyboard effects with the new led's?

Any ability you had before should still be retained. If you did not have the ability to control changing colors then you will likewise not be able to change colors after the swap.

Right now the led's are only white thats why i am going to change them to red.
