Keyboard inactive

Hello, my keyboard & mouse/scroller are not working. I installed Microsoft Security Essentials. Completed a scan. It would 3 viruses, including 2 trojans. Successfully removed those viruses and asked me to restart. Upon restart CheckDisk was performed and now I have no keyboard or mouse to login!!! Any ideas???
