Keyboard isn't working, what to do?

I need to lend a friend a keyboard, and the only spare one I have doesn't seem to be working. Upon plugging it into the PS/2 port, the three lights on it flash green, but it won't work. Windows says the driver is up to date.

What do I do? I'm using Windows 7 and the keyboard is a Genius kb-06xe

Remember with a PS2 port you need to have it plugged in when the PC is turned on. Have you just restarted the PC since plugging it in?
