Question Keyboard issue

I am thinking of buying a Macbook 12 inch (2018 model) and a MBP 15 (2018 model). I've been reading some issues with the keyboard. Is this problem still existing?

Yes, still but less.

Butterfly kbd still bad choice (susceptible to dirt). Apple added a membrane so harder to get contaminated, but not impossible. If u don't mind DIY cleaning, u should be OK.

The 2019 models are already listed with the 2018 model for the extended keyboard warranty, so I doubt it'll be completely fixed.
