Hi there. I am having a problem with my wireless keyboard lagging hard primarily in the evening. It registers few keystrokes. I checked task manager to insure that the memory is not overloaded (not a problem). The keyboard may be around 2-3 years old, yet it is not giving me this issue at any other time of day. The tower is on the other side of the desk, where the usb receiver is plugged in.

When keyboard is lagging, the mouse still works just fine.

The system is running on Win10, with a 1045T and 8gb ram. Keyboard is a Logitech MX3200.

I have also tried removing in device manager and scanning for new hardware, plus running a Windows Update.

One other note: in device manager, it shows two entries for a generic keyboard, with details on one showing it's for a Logitech. I have tried deleting one at a time or both, then re-scanning, but both will reappear.

So confused...

Is there anything else going on at that time of night? Are you plugging anything else in when you go on the system?

Logitech has a known issue with their receiver units and some devices on a USB 3.0 port

Have you also tried moving the receiver to a different port that's not as blocked off as behind the tower? I know with some of my Logitech devices (specifically Logitech for some reason) if the receiver isn't in the front of the case I get weird random input lag.
