Keyboard light off when on standby?

Hello.

I own a Lenovo y50 with a red keyboard light.
I assume it's demanding some power when it's on battery.
So, instead of turning it on and off manually I just wanted to know if it was possible to make the keyboard light turn off automatically when it's running on the battery.

Check the power management options, but I doubt there is an option to turn off backlight when only on battery.

Yeah I did, there was nothing spectacular regarding the backlight - oh well, it's not that big of a deal, it would just be nice.
