keyboard media keys

how can i use media keys for chrome or even windows or stuff like netflix and youtube because now when i try to mute or lower the volume it show up on the top left like 100 and muted and going up and down but doesnt affect windows or volume on pc so how can i make them work?
my keyboard: hyperx alloy elite rgb

It should be working. It might just be an unlucky mismatch between your keyboard and Windows.

Try unplugging and replugging.

If you're using a Heaset. Don't forget to srt your headset as the default device. Your keybaord will usually change the volume for the default audio output device.
