Keyboard Mouse Dont Work In BIOS

Mobo : asus m5A97 R2.0
Keyboard : PS2 connector
Mouse : USB connector
When I Press Del or F2 it goes into BIOS
Mouse and keyboard work fine for 1-2 seconds then they just freeze!!
Only using one ram slot 4gb ddr3
All other USB devices are unplugged

do you have latest bios? flashing to latest may fix this: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/HelpDesk_Download/

your motherboard appears to support: http://event.asus.com/2012/mb/USB_BIOS_Flashback_GUIDE/ so you can flash bios without needing to get into it.

otherwise you need to get motherboard looked at.
