I installed Windows 10 from windows 7 and after few days my keyboard and mouse suddenly freezes and only option to restart is from Power button. Everything in PC runs but cant do anything with mouse and keyboard. After restart things gets normal but anytime I face such problem. I have tried uninstalling mouse and keyboard drivers but noting is helping and my windows is up to date.
Plz Help

Solution
Go to Dell's website and download the mouse and keyboard drivers. Then reinstall anew. Be sure that the drivers are for Windows 10 - 32 or 64 bit as applicable.

Could be that Glarysoft cleaned out or corrupted some necessary file.

Event Viewer should have captured some failure to load or start event if the problem is related to a driver file.
What make and model mouse/keyboard are you using? Wired, wireless? Replace any batteries....

Where did you download the drivers from? Should come directly from the manufacturer.

Open Event Viewer and look for error codes or warnings that occur just before or at the time of the freeze.

The following link from within this forum will help:

Check the manufacturer's Forums and FAQs.

I am using simple wired Dell mouse and Keyboard and before installing windows 10 there was no such problem but after installing it I am facing this weird freeze problem of mouse and keyboard.

PS : I had installed Glarysoft utilities and cleaned computer with that.

Solution

I tried to do this but it tells me that there are no drivers for the stock keyboard and mouse. If i use the "Detect my computer" it does not find any drivers as well. Has anyone else encountered this as well?
