Question Keyboard/ mouse unresponsive

Hello,

I am at my wits in with whats going with my keyboard and mouse suddenly not working. It was fine a few days and now it just doesn’t do anything. The cursor is no where to be seen on screen and no keys work except light up the caps lock button. I tried every usb port and even three different usb mice and no go. Thing is whenever i am in bios or the advanced windows recovery then everything works fine but the moment it boots into windows then everything stops working. Can anyone help me please? It even happens in safe mode as well. System restore does nothing so I’m on the verge of just giving up.

Update your post to include make and model information for keyboard and mouse.

Are the keyboard and mouse drivers up-to-date? Obtained by a download from the manufacturer's website, reinstalled, and reconfigured thereafter?

Any known Windows 10 updates? Check the Update History.

In Windows 10: Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer.

Look for any error codes or warnings related to either keyboard or mouse activity. Even informational events for that matter.
