[SOLVED] Keyboard Not detected

Hello
My keyboard is not being detected at first when i switch it on.
It gives me the error "0 keyboard" thing and asks me to go the bios setup
After exiting the setup(without doing anything) system detects the keyboard and functions like nothing happened.
The keyboard is working fine.
Its a ps/2 type btw.
Why is it not detecting it the first time around?
It gets frustrating as every time i want to use my computer i have to do this task of going to the bios
setup and exiting from it to just let the system detect the keyboard

Quickest fix might be to buy a regular USB keyboard instead of trying to troubleshoot that PS/2 one - - - after all, a basic USB keyboard is relatively cheap to buy.
