Keyboard Not Powering Up Immediately

I am trying to get into my PC's bios and I cant because when i power on my PC the keyboard powers up after the startup process. Is there any way to get it powered up correctly? Also, i would prefer not to get a PS/2 adapter. The keyboard i am using is an Azio L70

What's the brand and model of the motherboard?

If your keyboard is plugged into a USB 3.0 port then unplug it and move it to a USB 2.0 port.

On most current motherboards the USB 3.0 ports don't become active/accessible until the USB 3.0 controller's device driver is loaded by Windows.
