Question keyboard not working

good ol betsy is having problems an my secondary rig a hp 2000 mobile i think half the keyboard stopped working replaced it but after a while it came back and im not familiar with laptops so im kinda lost

Does the issue creep up(that the keys stop working) or is it abruptly dead? You may want to see if you're undergoing an OS issue by sourcing an USB driven Keyboard and seeing if the same issue is present. You might also want to see if you have BIOS updates pending for your laptop.
