Hi, new user & non-english speaker here, so If I do anything wrong please bear with me.

I have Lenovo L412. Suddenly when I am pressing the "1" key or even "Shift+1" on my keyboard it doesn't press at all but on pressing any key from "2 to 10" it automatically keeps on repeating "1s". Eg-If I press "3" then it keeps on repeating "31111111111111" until I press any other key. Similarly situation for "Shift+any number key". I reiterate that the problem is with only number keys and not adjoining keys on the same row. Please help.

Try this...

1. Uninstall the keyboard driver.
2. Reboot the computer (without reinstalling the driver).
3. When it restarts, it should reinstall the driver on its own.

If this doesn't work, you may wish to try connecting an external keyboard and see if it works fine. If it does, then it could be the keys themselves that are the issue.

You may also want to try updating the Synaptics Driver if the above doesn't help.

The same problem continues even in the bios, doesn't look like driver issue. I have also plucked out the key and cleaned beneath it but still doesn't work.
