keyboard number keys malfunctioning

my number keys do not work at times and the problem gets solved for instance wen i switch on and off the num lock button and the problem is only with the right side number keys and not the upper one please help me solve this prob

so you mean sometimes numlock is on but the number keys dont work? have you tried a different keyboard?
