Question Keyboard or mouse sometimes don't activate with computer?

Hello. I recently had a day long power outage, and now sometimes when I turn the computer on, the keyboard and/or mouse doesn't activate with it.
Essentially what I'm saying is: The keyboard sometimes does absolutely nothing (and the info lights don't light up), sometimes the mouse doesn't light up (rgb mouse) and doesn't work (the cursor just doesn't appear at all). I was lucky enough to get both working this time. Any ideas of what's causing this?

More info:
-The power outage lasted about 19 hours.
-The keyboard has this problem more often then the mouse
-The monitor works perfectly fine
-OS = Windows 10
