Hi

It opens random programs (most notably fallout 76) and when a program is minimized and I click on it, ill several more copies of it. It types random letters and presses enter.

See the link for examples of random searches when I had chrome open.

(Yes it tends to be from one specific line of the keyboard and at some point, the buttons of that line stop working.)

So I tried reinstalling the drivers and it was fixed for a couple of days and now it's acting up again.

My windows is up to date, my keyboard is redragon k550 RGB Yama.

Im using my old ps/2 keyboard without any problems.

Any ideas?

Does keyboard work without the drivers?

can you set rgb on keyboard and then just not use its drivers?

Have you tried keyboard on another PC?

could try this and see if its a conflict with other software
Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.

Thanks

I should probably have tried plugging it into a different PC from the start.

It did the same thing. Does this mean the Keyboard is broken? Is there anything I can do to save it?
